Montreal Bookstore Engagement Photography Session

For two romantic souls in love, engagement photography at a bookstore seemed like the perfect way to celebrate their new commitment. Priscilla and Kyle were best friends for years before they called it official, and were so excited to make their forever promises to each other. We had so much fun playing with the books and shelves at the store, and artistically I loved all the little details and the red tones of the wood. They loved these photos, and had me as their photographer for their wedding. I’m so grateful to these two for their trust in me and my work.

What I love about these sorts of unique engagement or couple photography sessions is… well, so many things! I love imagining these whimsical photos on someone’s walls. I love seeing love (yes cheesy but I am a photographer of celebrations!) highlighted against the backdrop of some beautiful or cozy scene. Relationships are dynamic. It’s always my goal for my photos to evolve in meaning with time as my couples’ partnerships grow and change.
