I run my business based on my love for our planet and its people. I express my dedication to social and environmental justice by:
MY VALUES
☼ Donating a portion of my earnings to Refuge RR, Canada’s largest animal sanctuary.
☼ Making sure that I am an active ally for ethnic minorities. I support movements such as BLM, rights for Iranian women and Palestinian liberation, and land back as an activist, and I create a welcoming space in my business for all people. People are people as we all share our human experience, and love is love!
☼ Holding an accepting and safe space for all sexual orientations and gender representations. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I am so excited to celebrate all love!
☼ Using digital cameras and never film (all film is coated with gelatin), online galleries instead of USBs, and paperless invoices, contracts, and welcome packages. I do encourage prints, which I source from a sustainable fine art printing company.
☼ Rescuing cats when I can! Abandoned cats decimate their local wild animal populations, as well as facing many dangers outside themselves. I have so far re-homed almost 300 kitties in my small rescue.
☼ Taking public transportation to my bookings, and for farther wedding locations driving a gas-powered car - but! It is my next goal to upgrade to electric. The electric Mustang mach-e caught my eye on the road and I’ve been in love with it ever since. I daydream about it in cream white.
☼ Buying all plant-based or thrifted materials for my business.
☼ Living with a vegan diet as my small part to protect the planet and its creatures!

I think that it should be easier to book your dream wedding while aligning it with your values. While planning, you may have noticed that the wedding industry by large does not seem to promote sustainability. Creating a green wedding requires rooting out eco-friendly wedding professionals from every corner of Google and Instagram. Planning should be fun and fulfilling - and now it is!!
