FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Choosing a wedding photographer is one of the biggest decisions you'll make in your planning process. Below are answers to the questions I hear most often from couples in Montreal, Ottawa, and throughout Canada. If something isn't covered here, I’d love to talk about it directly!

What is your photography style?

My style is cinematic and documentary, rooted in real moments, natural light, and honest emotion. I trained as a Fine Art photographer while completing my BFA. My lens is attracted to love and joy like a magnet, and my photos look like stills from a movie.

Do you work with a second photographer?

A second photographer is available as an add-on! It depends on what's right for your day. Larger weddings with complex logistics, multiple venues, or big guest lists often benefit from a second shooter.

How much does wedding photography cost?

My packages start at $2,800. Packages vary depending on coverage hours and whether an engagement session is part of your booking. Every package includes a custom engraved memory box with prints delivered alongside your digital gallery, because your photos should exist as something you can hold! Full pricing details are available on request. I'm happy to talk through what makes sense for your day.

How long until I receive my photos?

Your completed gallery will be delivered within 4 weeks of your wedding day. I’ve worked professionally as a post producer for years to create a quality rate that is significantly faster than the industry norm, without any compromise to the care and editing each image receives.

Do you photograph engagement sessions?

Yes, and I love them! Some packages include an engagement session, and I always recommend one. It's about spending time together with a camera before the biggest day of your life, so that on your wedding day, being photographed feels completely natural. Couples who do an engagement session are noticeably more relaxed and present on their wedding day.

Should we make a shot list or moodboard?

I always encourage moodboards if they inspire you because they help to bring my vision closer to yours. Shot lists are usually not necessary unless you have a few things that are important for you to be captured in particular, or have many group portraits!

Where are you based and how far do you travel?

I'm based in Montreal, Quebec, and I serve couples across Montreal, Ottawa, and anywhere within a 3-hour drive of either city with no travel fee. For weddings beyond that radius, I'm available anywhere in Canada. Travel fees outside the covered region are reasonable and discussed upfront.

How far in advance should I book?

As soon as you think you want to work together. I take on a limited number of weddings each year to make sure every couple gets my full attention. If your date is coming up soon, reach out anyway! I sometimes have short notice availability.

Do you photograph LGBTQIA+ weddings?

Absolutely. I welcome all couples and all ways of celebrating. Every couple should feel completely at ease in front of the camera on their wedding day and creating that comfort for everyone is something I prioritize.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Retainers are non-refundable, as they hold your date and take it off the market for other couples. However, if you need to reschedule your wedding date, I will do everything I can to accommodate the new date based on my availability.

How do you deliver the final photos?

You'll receive an online digital gallery with all of your images available to download, share, and print. Every package also includes a custom engraved memory box with a curated selection of prints!

We want you to be our photographer! What happens after reaching out?

I'll reply within 2 business days with packages and details covering everything you need to know. From there we'll book a call to get to know each other and make sure we're a great fit. If we feel it, we'll move forward with a contract and a retainer to hold your date. After that, you can relax knowing your wedding photography is in good hands.

Still have a question that isn't answered here? I'd love to hear from you.
